PRINCIPLES OF VIRTUAL LABORATORY USE WORKS IN REMOTE TRAINING
Education is one of the most important areas of human activity, it’s due to the necessity of modern technologies use and the introduction of new forms of education.
Distance learning is currently the most promising, and as a result, a rapidly developing form of education. The main advantage of which is the opportunity to study at any time and in any place with the installation of individual terms. However, it is difficult, both for the organization of the educational process, and for students who use this form.
The course creators are guided by an in-patient training program. At the same time, it is filled with a large number of various theoretical materials, examples of calculations, calculation and graphic tasks, variants of examinations, tests. As well as other tasks and materials which are characteristic for various disciplines studied.
Some fundamental disciplines in the study require carrying out laboratory work. So, in particular, without them it is difficult to imagine the study of theoretical and technical mechanics, resistance of materials. As a rule, carrying out laboratory work alive "alive" requires a material base and a considerable investment of time and resources for their preparation. However, it is necessary to take into account the acute shortage of time for students of distance learning. In addition, voluminous topics, modules and courses significantly reduce the motivation of students. Consequently, the main task is to constantly improve the course in order to improve the efficiency of training by optimizing the quantity and quality of training. At the same time, most of the elements of education implement passive forms of education. For the development of practical skills, it is desirable to more actively integrate the student into the educational process, as well as methods of studying materials presentation.
One of the promising directions is to conduct a virtual laboratory work. This contributes to the rational use of time, both of teachers and students. As well as attracting students into the learning process.
The introduction of remote technologies in to educational process, primarily in technical disciplines, allows to modernize the use of measuring laboratory base and improve the functionality and quality of laboratory workshops, provide access to real equipment from any geographic location, as well as to provide access to equipment of other universities and industrial enterprises.
The possibility of an active remote experiment can significantly improve the adaptability of teaching and the effectiveness of the organization of independent student work, stimulates a creative approach to obtain knowledge and learn the course successfully.
In addition, virtual work does not require significant financial costs for their implementation. And at the same time they are a more flexible tool for teaching students. When changing the training program there is not required replacement, installation and establishment of expensive equipment. And the content of laboratory work can be flexibly changed for their natural entry into the general distance course.
The logical connection of compact and high-quality materials, a clear statement of the tasks and learning objectives at each stage helps students see their progress in the course from module to module. It is necessary to create conditions for a student to become an active participant of the educational process. In this regard, virtual labs represent great opportunities.
Evaluation of the features of remote laboratory work use showed that the method of remote work requires some improvement in terms of methodological support, allows us to expand and diversify the used laboratory work on the courses being studied, to implement the introduction of a distance learning method from junior courses. Improvement and refinement of the methodology for remote laboratory work will not only improve the quality of the work itself, but also improve the quality of training and the level of assimilated theoretical knowledge due to the individualization of a student learning and greater technical capabilities.References
